I was *ahem* I mean am quite obsessed with the plenty amount *.bvh around there and gave it another dig. I haven't added the arm movements as the legs always was quite problemsome. Now I know that Travellingmatt in his kindly way advised me to steer clear of this way of doing things, but hey, as I was in a sabbath from OWF, I gave this a go and am quite proud of it.
My wish is that we can apply some the animation skills I picked into this project - but then again, subject to group approval.
Another thing I thought I'd mention was that someone offered a "girl" mesh complete with to the community, and as long as it wasn't used for commercial purposes . . . it was free. The mesh - rather complete could be used for 'Nia - I will get the link when I find it. Now it is nothing like the concept art of 'Nia - quite anime like, and to be quite honest my laptop just could not render it due to the complexity of it, I think it may be worthwhile at least.
Just my few thoughts - the project is heading strongly at the moment and will continue to do despite the inactivity - I still get the occasional pm on the BA of folks wanting to give some contribution to this project, but then again, despite the recession, volunteers seem sparse. Probably out looking for a job . . .
